Which tank is better? Get a unique rating for your WOT tanks and compare.

This Tank Selector guide has been developed to answer the basic question, “Is tank A better than tank B?” This guide takes information from World of Tanks and calculates a single number or rating for each tank. This number is called the Total Tank Rating or TTR. This rating makes it easy to determine which tank is the better overall tank. Using the TTR is very simple, the higher the number, the better the tank is overall.

Not only can you compare tank to tank, but you can change tank modules, such as guns, turrets, etc. and determine which configuration is the best for that tank. In addition to the TTR, this guide also calculates several additional indices to help you understand the strengths and weakness of the tank. Two of these indices are the Overall Tank Index (OTI) and the Overall Gun Index (OGI).

The OTI calculates an index based on pure tank characteristics and does not include the gun. The OGI, on the other hand, is based solely on the gun characteristics. These two indices are then used to determine the TTR.
